Hindu news. No politics. No agendas. Just temples, festivals, and pilgrimage — covered seriously.
One year ago this site didn’t exist. Today, April 8th 2026, Hindu Herald turns one.
Religious coverage existed before we did — scattered across wire services, buried in entertainment sections, filtered through journalists who called our theology “mythology” and our murtis “idols.” The few dedicated Hindu news sites that existed covered religion as a vehicle for politics.
We started with a simple correction: this deserves better.
One year. A hundred stories a week. Temple consecrations and temple controversies. Pilgrimages and festivals. Char Dham and court battles. Hindu voices from Queens to Queensland — reported with the vocabulary the tradition actually uses, not the one Western media assigned it.
No politics. No identity agendas. Just dharma, temples, and the sacred calendar.
One year in. The work continues.
Year two starts tomorrow. The dharma doesn’t rest – and neither do we. 🙏
